sound UK Ltd is Maija Handover (previously of mhpr) and Polly Eldridge.
Maija Handover – having worked as a music publicist with Dvora Lewis PR and Global Music Network, Maija founded mhpr in 2000 to promote the very best in contemporary music. Since this time she has enjoyed working with a fantastic roster of clients, managing a diverse range of projects in the UK and abroad including Contemporary Music Network, BAC Opera, Late Junction record label, Tete a Tete, ISEA 2000, Streetwise Opera, fuseleeds, nattjazz, spnm and the PRS Foundation New Music Award. Polly Eldridge – Polly has been a contemporary music producer and PR for over ten years. After working for Performance Related on the Cheltenham International Jazz Festival and Ross-on-Wye International Festival, Polly became a freelance tour producer. In 2002 Polly set up sound uk to produce and promote tours and festivals, working with both UK and international artists. As sound uk she has continued to produce live music events - both in-house and for clients - gaining valuable knowledge and contacts that offer a holistic view of event production, from programming to PR.
