Trio Mediaeval & Arve Henriksen
An atmospheric collaboration between vocal group Trio Mediaeval and trumpeter Arve Henriksen.
Combining the pure voices of Trio Mediaeval and their repertoire of ancient and contemporary music with the haunting trumpet of one of Norway's leading contemporary improvisers, this will be unnervingly beautiful, goose pimple inducing music.
Trio Mediaeval are well known in Scandinavia and the USA and have had several highly successful performances here including Wigmore Hall and Bath Music Festival. Their album releases on ECM have had rave reviews.
Arve Henriksen has toured in the UK many times and has a devoted fan base both public and in the media. He has worked with London Sinfonietta, Britten Sinfonia as well as touring here with his own bands and other Norwegian
groups.
