A sound artist, nature beatboxer, producer, DJ, performer and facilitator, Jason Singh’s areas of work all stem from a multi-sensory approach to sound and music.
And at the very heart of it, listening.
Jason’s ongoing exploration of nature, voice and technology, and collaborations with musicians, wildlife experts, visual artists, choreographers, non-human life forms all feed into a wide range of multi-faceted projects in the UK and internationally.
Commissions: Jason has been commissioned to create work using recordings of plants, trees, and in response to other creative and cultural contexts. He created the soundscape to the Victoria & Albert’s The Fabric of India. For Yorkshire Sculpture Park a 5-day residency culminated in Sound Wave Collider and a 4 hour family rave.
